Spring New Hampshire Mountain Wedding
Although we work with fabulous people from all over the US, it's always a treat to work with our local New England couples! This beautiful New Hampshire wedding is a perfect example of enjoying our beautiful state, and additionally, we got to work with some of our favorite vendors. Definitely a highlight of 2024!
Thank you so much to Jeanne, the Mother of the Bride, for this thoughtful review of El's Cards: We had the absolute pleasure of working with El on the design of our wedding invitations and signage for our summer family wedding at home. From the start, she collaborated closely with us, thoughtfully incorporating our many requests to ensure every detail was just right. The results were stunning—each piece beautifully reflected the story of the wedding, seamlessly fitting into the overall aesthetic. No request was too challenging; El went above and beyond, always with the goal of making our daughter’s wedding truly unforgettable. And she succeeded! A heartfelt thank you to El and her team for making our home wedding so incredibly special.
Claire and Connor's wedding planner, the fabulous Sorrell Downing, told me about the gorgeous property with the mountain view where the wedding would be happening. I was happy to have a great phone call with the couple, discussing how we could create an invitation focused on the beautiful view that would be a special backdrop for this wonderful day.
Jeanne, the mother of the bride, has exquisite garden spaces and the whole property was really breathtaking on its own. We talked about what grows all over the property, and decided to incorporate ferns, irises, and catmint on all of the wedding stationery pieces.
There is so much I enjoyed about seeing these wedding photos by Kate Preftakes! The wedding day vibe was pure love and fun. As an artist, I'm never there to see the wedding day-so it's really meaningful when the photographer or the couple shares photos with me after the big day!
This bride, Claire, is a creative soul, so she did many of the wedding day details herself. We were happy to create many other details for this great event. Some of my favorites:
-Semi custom wedding invitation-featuring a floral and fern envelope liner, and the spring mountain version of our Mountain in Autumn wedding invitation. This design was the inspiration for our Mountain in Spring wedding invitation.
-Large custom signage including a welcome sign, seating chart, menu sign, and an oversized schedule of events print-all featuring either the mountain artwork and/or the florals and ferns artwork.
-Some sweet extras, like the tags for the kazoos saying "blow a kiss", and the small signs to mark all the delicious treats on the dessert table.
-One other dessert detail that was a fun addition...on the wedding cake, Grace Angulas at Graceful Baking painted her own version of our mountain design on one of the panels-similar to the invitation.
Wishing you a wonderful life together, Claire and Connor! Starting it out surrounded by so much love and beauty is absolutely the best!
xoxo
