Semi-custom Floral seating chart by the Sea

When a past mother-of-the-groom(s) (yes...2 grooms!!) reached out to me to design a bridal shower invitation for her god-daughter Lily, I was honored!  Then, when Lily reached out for some special custom artwork for her wedding day, that was another great compliment.

Lily and Will's wedding was on a hot summer day, but luckily right by the ocean and the sky was a crystal clear blue-as was the sparkling water. Lily requested a seating chart featuring a mix of different flowers.  This semi-custom option was a great choice.  I had the bride go through our website and select her favorite flowers.  Then I created a layout featuring beautiful watercolor roses, hydrangeas, peonies, and more.

Lily and Will also had us use the dahlia design that was featured prominently at the top of the chart on dahlia place cards with digital calligraphy at every guest's seat. The last colorful feature was the addition of the orange table numbers. A real pop of color in the center of the tables.  I love how the floral tablecloths look with our signs and the place cards.

These fabulous wedding details were a pleasure to design for this great bride.  Lily was so open to the use of color-and that made this project so much fun for this artist!  It's a great example of how much personality you can bring to a wedding reception-using existing designs in a custom way.
