Hand Calligraphy for a Maine Beach Wedding

We are so happy to share this beautiful wedding memory from 2017.  Tammi and Sara got married on the beach in Cape Elizabeth, Maine on a blustery day full of love and beautiful smiles!  

The Salty Air  watercolor design was the chosen artwork and the theme carried through all the elements of the wedding day.  Hand calligraphy always makes a beautiful impression in the mail, and the wedding guests enjoyed this special detail starting with the invitation.

For the wedding day, we carried the Salty Air theme through to the ceremony programs, a full color front and the back had a single beach rose at the top.  

Then....my favorite part!  Creative Table Names on the Salty Air Table Numbers!  This great couple's love of the different southern Maine beaches was the inspiration to name each of the guest tables after a different beach.  From Popham Beach to Ogunquit Beach...and so many beautiful spots in between.  Such a great idea.  The table names were all hand written in calligraphy for an extra special touch.

The escort cards featured a single beach rose and hand calligraphy in Jennifer style.  Thoughtful details like hand calligraphy are always a delight for guests.  Tammi and Sara's beachside wedding was truly an event to remember.

Best of all, I love it when our wedding couples stay in touch.  These fabulous women have stayed in touch every year since their wedding-and we always enjoy creating a special holiday card for Tammi and Sara.  They even came to see us at one of our craft shows in Portland!
